1. Turn on the main power switch.
2. Select the measuring range according to the sample. Hang or remove the pendulum weight on the pendulum rod and adjust the buffer valve handle to align with the mark.
3. Install the appropriate clamps into the upper and lower jaw seats according to the sample shape and size.
4. Roll and press the recording paper (graph paper) onto the drum of the tracer. This step is only necessary when needed.
5. Start the oil pump motor, open the oil supply valve to raise the test platform by 10 mm, then close the oil valve. If the test platform is already in the raised position, it is not necessary to start the oil pump first; simply close the oil supply valve.
6. Clamp one end of the sample in the upper jaw.
7. Start the oil pump and adjust the pointer to align with the zero point of the dial.
8. Start the lower jaw motor, raise and lower the lower jaw to the appropriate height, and clamp the other end of the sample in the lower jaw, ensuring the sample is vertical.
9. Lower the drawing pen on the push rod to enter the drawing preparation state (only perform drawing when required).
10. Slowly open the oil supply valve to perform the loading test at the required loading rate.
11. After the specimen breaks, close the oil valve and stop the oil pump motor.
12. Record the required values and draw the results.
13. Open the return oil valve, unload, and return the driven needle to zero.
14. Remove the broken specimen.
15. Compression and bending tests can be performed in accordance with the above procedures.
