Building Material Non-combustibility Test Furnace
Application Scenarios
This non-combustibility test furnace is dedicated to fire performance detection of various construction materials, complying with global fire testing standards. It is widely deployed in third-party fire inspection laboratories, construction material manufacturing factories, building engineering research institutes, quality supervision and testing centers, and university material laboratories. Testable samples include thermal insulation boards, wall panels, cement composite boards, decorative panels, inorganic building blocks, mineral wool and other building thermal insulation & decorative materials. It provides accurate combustion performance data for product fire rating certification, factory routine inspection, engineering acceptance testing and new material R&D verification.

High-Quality Manufacturing Materials

The main furnace body adopts thickened high-temperature resistant stainless steel integrated forming, with internal lining filled with high-density alumina refractory insulation cotton to lock heat and reduce energy loss. The sample support frame and specimen holder are made of special silicon molybdenum high-temperature resistant alloy, which will not deform or oxidize under long-term 750℃ high temperature. The built-in temperature sensing probe is imported high-precision thermocouple with anti-corrosion metal shell. The control box shell is cold-rolled steel plate with anti-rust electrostatic spraying treatment, resistant to wear and chemical corrosion in laboratory environments. All connecting wires are high-temperature fire-resistant cables to avoid aging under long-term high temperature working conditions.
Working Principle
The equipment simulates the high-temperature fire environment that building materials may encounter in actual fire accidents. The vertical furnace body forms a uniform closed high-temperature heating space, heating the internal cavity steadily up to the standard test temperature of 750℃. High-precision temperature sensors continuously capture real-time temperature data inside the furnace and on the sample surface during the whole test process. The system automatically records complete temperature rise curves. Testers observe the ignition, flame spread, smoke generation and burnout state of the test sample through the observation window. Combined with temperature change data, the equipment judges whether the material reaches non-combustible, hardly combustible or combustible grade, and outputs standardized fire test reports.
Operation Process
1. Sample preparation: Cut building materials into standard-size test specimens as required by fire test standards, fix the specimen firmly on the high-temperature resistant sample holder.
2. Equipment startup: Turn on the power supply of the control cabinet, set the target constant temperature parameter of 750℃ on the control panel, and start the preheating program.
3. Formal test: After the furnace temperature stabilizes to the preset value, send the sample holder with specimen into the vertical furnace cavity, close the furnace body observation port.
4. Data monitoring: The sensor automatically tracks temperature changes throughout the test, the system stores real-time temperature rise data synchronously. Operators record the combustion performance of the sample by visual observation.
5. Test completion: After the specified test duration ends, cut off the heating system, take out the sample after the furnace temperature drops to safe temperature, export the temperature curve data and complete the test record.
