Introduction to Compression Testing Machines

Jun 17, 2026 Leave a message

A compression testing machine is a testing device used for tensile, compression, bending, and shear tests on metallic and non-metallic materials. It is mainly used in metallurgy, construction, light industry, aerospace, and materials science. This equipment conforms to GB/T 228-2010 "Metallic Materials - Tensile Testing at Room Temperature" standard and is compatible with international testing methods such as ASTM and ISO.

The testing machine adopts a dual-space gantry structure. The upper space is used for tensile testing, while the lower space can perform compression and bending tests. The equipment is equipped with a computer system for test control, data acquisition, and report generation. Built-in dedicated Chinese testing software supports the measurement of parameters according to national and international standards. Technical parameters cover a range of 5KN to 500KN, with a force measurement accuracy of ±1%, an effective tensile space of 700mm, a speed adjustment range of 0.05-300mm/min, and overload protection and automatic reset functions.
